Research Project Assignment

  • Today in class you were assigned a topic for your research paper.  This research paper will be graded as an exam. It is very important that you do this research project because it will give you a better understanding of Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry.
  • Your report must be written in 2 complete pages on loose leaf paper.
  • Please be sure to include a cover page. I have attached a two page to template to help you organize your ideas.
  • DO NOT plagiarize- If someone plagiarizes another person’s idea or work, they use it or copy it and pretend that they thought of it or created it.
  • You must cite your references in your bibliography. I have attached a sample works cited page for your convenience. Please refer to page 41 in your student planner to help you with your bibliography.

  • The narrator, Sonny’s brother, mentioned that the boys who reside (live) in Harlem are filled with rage. Where is this rage coming from? In other words, what is this rage about?
  •  The narrator refers to the students as being cursed? What does he mean by that? How are they cursed?
