6th Grade ELA 5/28/13-5/30/13

TUESDAY

Students will read Macbeth Act 4, Scene 3 and answer the following questions:

1) Why does Macduff go to England? Cite evidence from the text.

2) How does Malcolm react to the news of what is happening in Scotland? CIte evidence from the text.

3) How does the scene end?

4) Compare how Lady Macduff perceived the actions of Macduff with what his true intentions were. For example, did he really abandon his family? Cite evidence from the text.

 

WEDNESDAY

Reading

Students will revisit Macbeth Act 4, Scene 3 and identify evidence that can be used to describe Macduff and Malcolm. Students will then take that evidence and come up with adjectives to describe the character based on the evidence.

Writing

Students will work on any of their missing assignments for Harriet Tubman, Frederick Douglass, or William Shakespeare.

Students will complete the review for Macbeth that focuses on the first four acts of the play.
