Thank you for visiting the New World Preparatory Charter School website.

It is with great excitement that I welcome back our 7th and 8th grade students and families and welcome for the first time NWP’s entering 6th grade class.  This is a very exciting year for me and the school.  In June, NWP will graduate the class of students that opened this school three short years ago.  While it is hard for me to believe how quickly the time has passed, when reflecting back on the amount of academic, social, and emotional growth our students have experienced makes it seem as though we have been together much longer than the three years NWP has been open.

It is my belief that all children are entitled to a quality education that prepares them for college and a successful career.  Through our rigorous academic program and extended school day, I believe that each graduate of New World Prep will be given the necessary tools to succeed beyond the doors of our school.

In addition to our academic program, New World Prep will encourage students to establish roots in their community.   From the first day of class, we will create a connection between our students and the Staten Island community.  New World Prep students will partner with local organizations to develop active social citizenship.

Together we will build an exceptional educational environment that will positively impact the lives of the Staten Island communities.  Our Guiding Values of Pride, Respect, Excellence, and Purpose, will instill the foundation of strong moral character and active community involvement.

I look forward to working with the Port Richmond and Staten Island community to enrich the education of the students of New World Prep.
